$BRVVF Grew Creek project

The Grew Creek district occurs in an Eocene-age volcano-tectonic depression within the Tintina fault zone, a regional system of dextral strike-slip faults, and within the Tintina gold belt, a regionally extensive collection of gold prospects and mines. The Project bears strong similarity to other volcanic-hosted deposits in the western United States that occur along crustal-scale strike-slip faults, including those along the Walker Lane in Nevada. Gold deposits along the Walker Lane such as Comstock, Bodie, and Tonopah host bonanza veins with multiple-ounce grades enveloped by larger tonnages of lower grade, commonly bulk mineable material. Vein textures, the style of alteration and the high-level volcanic environment in the Grew Creek district attest to modes of mineralization comparable to Sleeper, Midas, and other volcanic-hosted deposits in the Great Basin, and demonstrate that this style of epithermal gold mineralization also occurs in the Yukon.
