I assumed they could sponsor themselves ....but I wouldn't think they may as sloppy as they may be with seeing direct ties to CSM Fargo ND...though is it greed or ??

I still am glad things are surfacing because it shows the true value......much larger than we all could imagine...

I will be the first to say I am wrong in regards to some wanting to control PS Targeting but just look at the Yew tree control that took place decades ago with the help of politicians....etc

Most don't realize the trouble Bristol Myers Squibb went to to CONTROL the Pacific Yew tree.....just like most don't realize YET the trouble maybe some of the same types have been going to try and CONTROL PS Targeting ...

Tree Yields a Cancer Treatment

...
....
Previous studies showed that taxol, which comes from the Pacific yew, helped some women in advanced stages of ovarian cancer, which kills 10,000 women a year. But the amount of taxol now available is enough to treat fewer than 1,000 patients this year. Few Trees, Few Owls

It takes six 100-year-old Pacific yews to treat one patient, and the trees are scattered in the underbrush of ancient forests in the Pacific Northwest. Most of the trees are far too small to be used, clear-cutting is required to harvest those that are suitable, and many are in places where logging is prohibited to protect the habitat of the spotted owl.

The demand for taxol can only grow because of the promising new results. A study being reported this month has found that it is extraordinarily effective in treating advanced cases of breast cancer, which kills 45,000 women a year. And preliminary results from another small study show the drug is also active against lung cancer, which kills more than 100,000 people a year.

"It's a vast market," said Dr. Bruce Chabner, director of cancer treatment at the cancer institute, which allocates the limited supplies of taxol to researchers. "We can't possibly supply it. At times we have had shortages of other drugs, but nothing like this."
