jrbscrazy, we are having a failure to communicate. No one is questioning if QBID has equity in QTN. The question is only, how much? Where you are wrong is when you claim QBID common shareholders have equity in QTN too. This is where Fisty is right, and you are wrong.
You seem to dwell on par value, as opposed to the class of shares. QTN's shares are private equity. QBID owns them privately. QBID's common shareholders do not. QTN was incorporated to keep it controlled by QBID. You are correct when you say QBID has equity in QTN. You are wrong when you say QBID common shareholders have equity in QTN.
