Perhaps forgotten here is how much of Mesa Edex controls.

Mesa seems to be the big prospect here and VTYE has 2.5% of the Mesa prospect to EDEX's 37.5% for the first couple wells. But EDEX, IIRC, has 70% of the rest of the project, making its overall stake about 28 times VTYE's share.

I don't know much about the Palo Duro area and haven't seen any announcements from either company about it.

VTYE has an advantage to traders because it's on the bulletin board.
