LOL Remember I think it was President Reagan that spooled up that Star Wars thing just before Russia bit dust?

Well it looks like the weaponize space thing is like already a reality and were kinda off the curve on it. Or maybe not, who knows the DOD puts satellites into orbit all the time with what looks like a miniature space shuttle, I saw pictures of it a while back, big enough to hold payloads.

Have you heard of "Space Corps" they want to make it a reality and I don't think it will be a boy scouts troop either.
I'm sure they already have mark ups for space based laser systems or those concentrated micro burst things that quickly heat up stuff.
Anyway the dominance of space looks like it has already begun.

The HASC-passed NDAA would direct the Defense Department to establish a Space Corps by Jan. 1, 2019. The Space Corps would fall under the Department of the Air Force but operate as an independent service, similar to the Marine Corps’ relationship to the Department of the Navy.

The corps would be responsible for space acquisition programs and led by its own chief of staff, however other services would still be permitted to procure their own user terminals. It would also be responsible for organizing, training and equipping space forces.
