They were not selling petri plates as a product but they were selling BNP kits that were made with a nutrient plate and a staining plate. They announced commercial sales of a variety of FlatPacked petri plates in August or September of 2012. So the increase over BNP kits made with petri plates and commercial sales of a variety of petri plates would likely be thousands of percent. No joke.
