Cloud Computing which is the practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer is the future.

It makes no sense to buy expensive specialized software for almost all businesses big or small. Most businesses will save money rather than remain involved or to maintain own IT departments. Not only it saves capital expenditures but also it makes sense in keeping up with the changing environment reality- both for business and changing software technology.

Cloud Computing industry is complex and Microsoft is seeing where the trend is heading in business and technology. Same goes for IBM and few other giant corporations. The industry is in its infancy. Growth is estimated to be about 5X in about 5 years.
