Anatabine was determined to be a new chemical entity which ruined the company for the most part. Anatabine could have been huge. That determination ruined their dietary supplements Anatabloc and CigRx. And finally the tobacco industry did not like Anatabine and Anatabloc for some reason.

Everything is the opposite with cbd oil. FDA says NOT a new chemical entity. Also the hemp industry wants cbd oil to be sold as a dietary supplement.
