They say that they offer TV over the internet, not requiring cables or a satellite - just wifi
But pretty much all internet is provided via cables or satellite, so what's new here?
I suppose the other option is wifi hotspots, on cellular networks, but they generally restrict your usage. But I can see this laying groundwork to a new era perhaps. Thinking AT&T/Direct TV. If Verizon bought this, they could become the largest force in the world, hope they are willing to pay a billion dollars for that.
I think I answered my own question along the way, is that what everyone else is thinking?
