For mass production, PR3D saves the company money because post process technologies take much longer than inspection during a print.

The value is already built in, the standards may enforce companies to use a similar technology as PR3D, but as of now the value is already there.

Since most companies aren't yet in mass production, tinkering around with prototyping and small lot builds, and evaluation of the AM process, it will take time to adopt PR3D.

But as we all have seen, everyone is racing towards mass production.
