So I have been at war lately with the chipmunks around my house. For any PETA members I dont have anything against chipmunks, they are cute etc and I have lived in peace with them for years.

However, they have formed a gang this year and have been chewing up stuff in my storage shed and under my carport and digging under the house and generally making a nusiance of themselves.

So I bought a badass 1300 FPS pellet rifle and have been taking them out. (4 to date) I had not seen one in a week and figured they got the message and went off to terrorize my neighbors.

The missus and I were lying in bed being lazy on a Friday evening watching "Countdown to Green" and one of the devious creatures strolls across my bedroom floor like he owns the place without a care in the world. By the time I could set my pair of killer Chihauha's on the floor it had disappeared and they showed zero interest in tracking it.(they are great for cuddling in your lap and barking their heads off when someone knocks on the door but not much else.)

So trying to figure out how to catch this thing, I saw it run under my dresser but it disappeared again. I'm thinking just set a rat trap tonight or maybe borrow someone's cat.
