TBK - My guess is that once the current dilution is over he will begin leveraging the assets with bank loans which in turn will be used to buy more ships. And, of course, those ships necessarily need to be purchased from none other than GE. Keep in mind that he controls the vote and the board. He is unlikely to RS the shares more than twice more because doing so would reduce his preferred votes below the outstanding common and his control would be lost. I am waiting also to see if his $200 million revolver gets turned into preferred shares with a large number of attached votes. What better way to get dividends while controlling the company.

I believe where GE is only interested in GE anyone buying and holding is deluding themselves regarding GE's character, morals, and determination to build his empire on the carcasses of prior shareholders.
