A little speculation...

It looks like the movie will be shown in over 100 theatres as of now. That's not bad considering we're less than a week into the official release. Let's do a little calculation based on some assumptions.

The average per theatre income was $27K the first weekend. Let's say that figure drops significantly to an average of $9k for 30 days.

Let's also assume (conservatively in my opinion) that SIL will be shown in 200 theatres.

Now here's where the BIG assumptions come in...

Let's assume the box office take is 50% and that Artisan gets 65% of the remaining 50%...

That means NV would get 35% of 50% to be split in half with Mr. Brown after we recover our initial 2.5 million. Here's how it works out:

9000 x 30 x 200 x .5 x .35= $9,450,000

9,450,000 - 2,500,000 (NV's off the top) = 6,950,000/2 = $3,475,000 + $2,500,000 = $5,975,000 Gross profit to New Visual possibly by the end of November. Let's hope they structured the deal in a way that would ensure the money gets to the coffers most expediently.
