Its a matter of principle.

The officers of the company have a duty to shareholders to be transparent, representative, and fair in their statements, and when deadlines are missed, it speaks purely and simply to the quality of trust they wish to build with investors and corresponding deficiency of accountability if they dont adequately answer to their actions.

I have no reason to believe they wont meet this particular commitment, and if they don't, I have no reason to believe they wouldn't offer an adequate explanation.
