Appears to be made by the company (Long Time Star?) that Floridany has said is associated with us. I'm still hazy on the connection.

I'm not sure if they are making the V5 bodies for us, like Chery will be providing the V3 SUVs and likely several others too.

My opinion is Long Star (or whatever is the right translation) will be(and have been) making the bodies and chassis for ZJMY on the V5, the police car, possible the Cheetah and the ant (mini car) Other possibilities include the electric freight car (China Post EV), and (maybe even that wierd looking electric dining car).

IMO, JB&ZJMY are providing the batteries and electric motors.

I read that Long Star used Lead acid batteries in their EVs. Not good for a EV company to go down that road pun intended. Using ZJMY's battery tech = win-win for Long Star and ZJMY like the Chery cooperation.

I personally believe ZJMY may allow their EV body manufacturers (Chery, Long Star) to use its battery tech, otherwise Chery's own EVs would become obsolete next to ZJMY's range and superior tech. In addition, ZJMY may allow Chery (other body manufacturers) to brand some with their own symbols/emblems as part of the deal.

Part of the win-win mentality. If Chery sells Chery branded EV with ZJMY tech, ZJMY will still benefit. I believe ZJMY, if my above hypothesis is correct, will provide bodies, and chassis at a very discounted cost or maybe at virtually no cost, to be able to use ZJMY's tech.

Why would Chery make EV bodies for ZJMY at the demise of their own EV line????

I'm sure both companies have considered this. Business is business.

Shared tech and resources makes sense, and all parties will WIN.

It's obvious there will be deals and cooperation with multiple manufacturers and suppliers.
