If you read it as written it's clear that it's not past tense as in no longer serving. It only states when he started, not that he is no longer serving.


Interesting that they noted this in past tense - after telling us what he's doing now...

"Mr. Williams has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Sigma Labs, Inc., a leader in the 3D printing software space, since July 2016. Prior to that, Mr. Williams served as..."



It's the same as if I enlisted in the Navy in 1975 and now can say I have served for 37 years since then. Make sense?
