June 21,22-The remnants of the tropical depression produced more showers Thursday and overnight Friday. The wind picked up in the afternoon, along with rising temperatures. Summer has returned.

I continue to spot more melons in the vines. The largest now is about the size of a softball. The tomatoes were a concern earlier this season, but the liming I did has turned them around. The vines are loaded. It's now a matter of waiting for them to ripen.

Dreama did manage to email an image of the Tootchache plants. The flowers look like yellow gum drops with red centers.


Old Cadillacs never die. The finance company take 'em and faaaaade 'em away.
