Interesting AUGRID PR from 2004:

I don't want to knock Augrid's past products or innovations. However, I know that great products alone do not necessarily equal strong earnings. It's not always fair, but it takes money to research new products, and even more money make people aware of what you've developed. During that entire time, there is sometimes little to no income....

Now, hopefully, with the revenue streams they will be acquiring as a holding company, Augrid will be able to raise the kind of financing needed to advance and promote some of their promising products...like this one:

Augrid’s Armour Technology Receives Praise at IDGA Conference


AüGRID Corporation is proud to announce today that its scientific team received very high remarks from top industry analysts at the Institute for Defense and Government Advancement’s conference held in Washington, DC last week, July 27 - 28, 2004. The focus of the conference was Lightweight Materials for Defense Engineering, an area where both AüGRID’s technology and approach are years ahead of the competition.
