I'm getting sick of all this liquidity bullshit talk I hear from investors all the time. I think people are getting their mind poisoned by those who make money from volume, exchanges, short term traders and market makers. Real value investors does not need volume.
And who are they trying to fool? If I sell 100 shares that will result in 1000 shares traded, the reality is still that there was only a market for 100 shares. The only difference is that a market maker will make money of the spread between the real buyer and the real seller instead of one of the two parties who will wait to get hit.
The only time I would need really high liquidity in a stock is if I invest in something that I'm not really sure that I want to invest in, so I need to know if I can make a quick exit if I realize that I made a bad call.
It's all lazy people talk imo. Do your DD, when you know that is an good investment you will buy. If shit goes down, liquidity won't save you, the stock will drop to all level where there are real buyers again anyway.
Anyway, I pretty much agree on everything you have written here today. And I'm not blaming otc alone that SIAF is trading so low, but it does not help being here.
I have completely stopped caring if we are trading at $2 or $4 today, it's so freaking far away from the real value of the company anyway. Once the Triway financing is in place, the true value of the whole company is close to $100, and I mean it. The financing will not only boost the production into fish farm, it will open up the doors to boost all other segment as well. In a few years when all legs in SIAF has its own listing on different exchanges, the sum of them all will be so high it will effect the GDP of Sweden.
