What do you mean does Etrade have more "instruments?" Are you asking if Etrade allows you to trade more penny stocks than other brokers? From what I understand Etrade is the best big broker if you trade penny stocks. I have used both but haven't used TDA in years so I don't know how good they are now. Etrade won't allow trades on a very small group of dtc problem pennies. Don't know if TDA has a larger list. Why don't you give me an example of a few tickers that TDA won't allow you to trade and I will see if Etrade is allowing it on my end.
