Hawk, Definitely, & literally, could use a boat sometimes.
When I first moved down here, like you said, you could set your watch by the afternoon rain.
Over the past two years, like many places in the country, the weather patterns have changed. Basically, you get long stretches of dry weather, followed by long stretches of rain.
I miss those short afternoon showers. Even during the rainy season, you could plan outdoor activities, and know what to expect. Now, it's become as unpredictable as, well, the weather... :-/
...or, the stock market...
Presently, it has been raining pretty steadily for a week. One cannot tell if it's morning, afternoon, or evening outside.
Where's that Noah guy when you need him...?
