My bet is that if shareholders don't get panic at this point, and grab whatever comes cheap here, it would be a huge reward. There is no point at this point to take 95% loss and sell.

Wait for sometime and this will be rewarded. ECGR has small float and it can recover quickly, shorts will get burnt badly.
