Hawk,
Things are moving along down here, thanks. Today we finish fixing up my dad's car (still cannot believe that thing being lifted off the ground like something out of The Wizard Of Oz).
My parents eat at their clubhouse while they're waiting for things to return to normal (power, cable, phones, etc.). I did not realize how good the food is that the Red Cross is able to provide.
As I mentioned, I am very surprised & happy about the help that people are providing the tornado victims. There seems to be a story in the news that's mixing up Riviera Beach victims, saying they don't qualify for help. I'm not too familiar with Riviera Beach, but they are combining them in with my parents' community (which is incorrect). My parents' community qualified for Red Cross, FEMA, Salvation Army, et.al. The news is saying the Red Cross is not helping, and that they don't qualify for FEMA. Just in case somebody read about it, there appears to be something wrong about this story (not a surprise if you've ever been privy to a news story, then watched it get all mixed up in the news broadcast).
Oh well, very unusual morning down here in S. FL. No sunshine, indeed, no daylight yet today. Outside looks like 8:30 in the evening. Oh, did I mention rain (I'm sure most are tired of hearing, seeing, feeling...that by now...at least, in the east...).
