Hey Wildman this might help a little!!! Basically, they are not obligated to fill your orders prior to them. That means if you put an oder in to sell a stock for say, .025 on a .024x.026 stock, UBSS, NITE or any other MM can come around and put his order in front of you, even 20 mintues later, to get filled prior to you. Sometimes you may not even get filled. This happens all of the time, and today it happened to me for the milionth time. I literally put an order in 15 minutes before anyone had their Order in for a specific stock. Next thing you know, I am watching the L2 and UBSS decides its a good time to sell also, so he jumps down to my sell level on the L2, and sells ahead of me. He sold much more shares than I had, and he continued to sell until the B/A dropped even lower. So, I call up my Broker, Etrade, and they tell me that they will call the MM's and see what the deal is. The MM's tell them that they are not obligated to fill your order, prior to filling theirs, EVEN if your Order was placed before theirs. Basically they are the middle men, we all know this. They sit in the middle, watch all of the buys and sells going on, and move the PPS based upon the type of Volume, Volatility, suppy/demand they see. Then they make the best trades for themselves, give a damn less about eveyrone else, and make as much profit as they can. While that is happening, you can put an order in to buy or sell at a certain price, and they can jump in front of you 10, 15, 20 minutes after your order, and get filled prior to you, to make their profits all the while you are missing out.

ttle to understand MM games!!!

My posts so my opinion!
