Wow, that was some long process Bill had to go through...I'm happy it worked out well. (I was only joking about the squirrel flea question. :) )

I remember a neighbor near my parents' home had a detached retina. I don't know the specifics, other than something went wrong initially, and she had to have the surgery again. She's OK today. (Must be tough sleeping at night, with having to keep your chin on your chest and all.)

Mom's surgery is Sept. 8th. Thank you for your help and kind words.
