Supply and demand plays a larger part in where the pps is at. There is a large volume of shares coming through the sell side and not enough volume on the demand side at any given price. Since GE doesn't care at what price he sells shares, only that he gets the cash, trading in DRYS shares doesn't follow any normal rules. The sell side simply gets dumping shares at lower prices.

It helps if you stop looking at DRYS shares as though there is any other logic to this. GE simply wants cash. HE DOES NOT CARE AT WHAT PRICE THE SHARES SELL ONLY THAT THEY DO SELL!!!!!
