It was a pump and dump from day 1. They needed toxic money to pay themselves and their cronies. Of course he's going to write about how bad it is and make it sound like they were the victim.

When you think "there can't be that many people falling for this", remember the Bernie Madoff story and recall that over $50 BILLION of smart money fell for a great story.
