June 17-Overcast this morning. I expect it will burn away later in the morning. Then clouds will build up in the afternoon increasing the chance of a shower. Typical summer weather.
Later this evening I will take the 20 to a Methodist church in Myers Park to attend a meeting of the Mecklenburg Beekeepers Association. It's time to learn the right way to keep bees. Ali will pay for any classes, the hives, and the queens.
They will be city honeybees. Keeping them happy in an urban environment probably has its specific challenges. If I am to grow an abundance of fruit and vegetables that require pollination, I will have to keep honeybees.
And the honey, of course, is a bonus.
Old Cadillacs never die. The finance company take 'em and faaaaade 'em away.
