Because there was no basis for the source being right when the biased rhetoric started. In fact, the stock was rapidly increasing at the time and no DD has ever been provided to support the 'sky is falling' statements'.
Kind of like saying, "hey jack, the sky is green, don't look just trust me, I'm a total stranger". Would you trust me?

We're all on our way out, act accordingly...
