There are actually some plumbing supply companies that still carry old parts on line. You just need to research them.

Our house was built in 1993 and it is nothing to brag about but the mortgage is paid off.

All the fixtures were sweated in and have a nice day replacing them. I think the kitchen sink faucet went first and after screwing around with that pieces parts I just ripped it out bought a Kohler and installed quick disconnects in case the POS fails again.

Then both bathrooms along with the water heater. The water heater was a real piece of work. I had to cut the sob out with a sawall then buy a loaf of bread to get my quick disconnects sweated in.

Toilet guts are another piece of work. Go buy a flapper and make sure you buy the right year.lol.

Then you deal with the flush handle and eventually that snaps off as well.

I keep an extra handle on hand just for yuks.
