I understand what you mean, not sure when they misrepresented the AS, but to me the TA is the 'source of truth'.
I'm with you, I believe as much as the next person, but someone has to be the voice of authority and to me it's the TA. If they say they can only give the OS, as strange as it sounds, I am compelled to believe them.
