Prof, you keep making this reference to NDOL as an example of a company that made a dramatic run as a result of declaring a dividend. I don't follow it too closely but my recollection is that NDOL ran up to $1.50 or so on rumors of a take-over bid. This subsequently turned out to be a merger with another Russian oil company and the price fell back and is currently around 22 cents. I don't ever recollect any talk of a dividend (but I could be wrong).

I'd love to see SLJB declare a dividend post-audit as a way of tackling the NSS problem but I certainly hope the PPS doesn't follow the NDOL pattern.
