Stephen Chu owns more shares then all of the BOD and management of BOX - that's the major difference
2nd BOX has positive equity value Paragon has a huge negative equity value ie loads of unpaid debt vs assets so there is less to fight over at Paragon sorry to tell you that but check the balance sheets - Paragon has essentially no options left but BOX SHIPS has plenty of options to move forwards and enhance shareholder values
that's my synopsis of the why Paragon meeting went ahead and the fate of shareholders at Paragon vs the fate of shareholders at BOX
there is a big difference
although they are managed by the same people - the ownership , net asset values do make a difference in these matters
