why would a yield sign stop a note holder converting their note to shares and selling them?

it has nothing to do with the company unless the company want to buy the note back.

I doubt Tangiers and their ilk even knows the number of r the OTC Markets.

The company needed money 6 months ago that is what we are seeing now.
