funny how some would rather put all the blame on the home owners when at least an equal amount belongs in the laps of greedy mortgage brokers.

The mortgage broker that I know and work with has a policy of being completely honest with home owners and watches out for their long term interests. Unfortunately they are many greedy and unscrupulous ones out there and many people are going to lose their homes because 1) they trust unscrupulous brokers and 2) didn't do their home as well as they should have.

But isn't that why almost all of us hire professionals of one sort or another? To advise us on areas where we are not expert? I tend to put the largest share of the blame on those who profited from this mess.
