That is a good, but not all inclusive, list of things management has presented, but failed to deliver on...

They have clearly been using carrots to temporarily boost the share price... carrots ALWAYS met with selling!

Let's see:
1) Company makes a promise date for something "huge" in the future.
2) Traders and investors buy in anticipation.
3) Someone dumps a ton of shares into the anticipatory buying.
4) The news is a dud and the stock tanks.
5) Rinse and repeat.

That pattern has repeated itself at least a dozen times here... with the carrots growing ever larger and more absurd!

What seems obvious to me is that the seller(s) prior to the news seem to be aware that the news will be a dud...

I can't think of too many explanations for how the sellers can know that in advance, anyone have any theories on that? Well, aside from the obvious...
