It doesn't sound strange at all,

I've often hoped some of my departed dogs were still around in some capacity when doing something I know they would've loved, usually involving water.

When I lost a male of a pair that had been together 10+ years, the surviving female would adopt some of the behavior of that male that she knew drew attention from me including some of his 'bad boy' habits. One of the unexpected joys I got from adopting older dogs is being able to let them off the leash and not worry about losing them. They were 'velcro' dogs and I couldn't ditch them when out in the woods if I'd tried.

Your link requires registering and I'm done with crowding my brain with new passwords unless I was shopping for something really needed or the site could make me money.

I'm envious of your guys travel trailer which I'm sure will bring lots of good memories. Nothing like camping with dogs...and a woman you like and more importantly likes you. :)
