The aircraft legal owner is still SOUND CORPORATION of Delaware and Magellan Properties Ltd of Georgetown, Grand Cayman represented by GEORGE ROLLAR, Chairman.
Former airline operator up till 3/2003 was NEA - Northeast Airlines (PTY) LTD of Swaziland (ABSOLUTELY AFFILATION OR CONNECTION NEBA - NORTHEAST BOLIVIAN AIRLINES as those parties do not even know each other). We confirm VIVA/AUXER looked at this aircraft as a 2nd L1011 but they may have rejected moving forward with the transaction due to the problems and uncertainty of getting the aircraft moved out of litigation problems of the previous operator.
The L1011-1ER 3D-NEC is ex-Delta/Tradewinds aircraft (is not painted with any identifying logo or marks, contrary to those internet aircraft experts who are always going blah, blah, blah). That ex NEA L1011 is on the eve of getting recovered and feed up fuel bill and hostage situation from Ouagadugu, Burkina Faso and moved to Sharjah or elsewhere for maintenance, reconfiguration and refurbishing...
We confirm NORTHEAST BOLIVIAN AIRLINES (NEBA) may have interest in this 2nd aircraft later, if the deal is right and if its refurbished according to the company requirements. Discussions are undeway but nothing is firm.
