Shorters plus MMs control of the spread is the reason.

Selling at a price below current share price is the work of shorters in an attempt to drive it down.
You have to wonder what could they possibly have to gain by doing that.. I have a few guesses.

The large spread between bid and ask on the other hand is controlled by the MMs so seems a combination of both.
I saw bid .1310 with ask .1499 today which is quite large spread on a big volume day, should be closer and not so wide when volume is high.

Anyway things are moving in the right direction this week!
SP surging and big investors conference Thursday should have this uptrend continuing.
