It always has been, IMO. I do think that there is some element of MM games at play, but the majority of it is retail shareholders. Some may dump to chase other plays or support other holdings, while others manipulate it down to pick up cheaper shares. I also wonder if there aren't one or two folks who buy when it is low with the express purpose of stacking up asks when it starts to move. All speculation, of course, but it would explain the (in)action over recent months.
