It took a while longer than for me. It is not only the lies from the company, most ceos do lie to keep startups going. It is the past which was the red flag for me. In this case, all I can see is a continuity from the same bahaviour and people from there. Imo, it is a scam but time will tell. I wouldn't believe a single word from officials or employees. Not even if they wish you a nice day!
