Not so sure diabetes is the golden goose.

Repairing Tissue damaged by Myocardial Infarction seems like a winner. People have heart attacks everyday. Lot's of them. For some the heart tissue is so severely damaged they have repeat MI's and die. Repairing that heart tissue would lessen repeat MI's and lessen recovery times after MI. Also if your doctor found weak heart tissue he could prescribe the treatment before you even have your first heart attack.

I can point to many new studies like the one below at very credible institutions for why diabetes may become a thing of the past.

USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.

Fasting-Mimicking Diet Reverses Diabetes in Mice.

I have watched so many documentaries on diet and nutrition and they all say the same thing from leading experts in medicine. Diabetes is not hereditary. It is the product of a severely poor diet and can be reduced to non existent levels or even reversed completely by switching to a plant only based diet. The documentaries show doctors and their patients who switched to a plant based diet, only to see their diabetes literally reversed. The patients no longer need insulin and lead healthy lives with no recurrence of diabetes.

Lots of new studies coming out on the effects of plant only based nutrition on diabetes where years ago if you were a doctor and stated such you would have been ridiculed and laughed out of your profession.

Why? Because pharmaceutical companies and doctors don't look for cures for diseases. They look to treat the symptoms of disease only guaranteeing themselves a steady stream of income from patients that will never get better.

All that is changing. Mainstream views on diseases from 20-40 years ago are being challenged daily in the laboratory today.
