My first job...shoeshine boy at the neighborhood bars in Chicago in 1965. I was 7 yrs. old and pulling in $5-$7 a day. Had a shoeshine box made of scrap wood and bent nails. The money was pure profit since I stole my polishes and brushes from the store...along with ice cream. LOL

Ahh..the good ol' days!
