Learning lessons from recent past is usually a key to understanding. Have been a teacher and instructor all my life ranging from children nursery songs to combat survival of aviators over deep jungle to E Germany factories and air bases prior B Wall fall '91. When I red pencil 'F' to the wrong answer "zinc" not "gold" as correct answer to what is of value in a heap leach preg solution someone is still not not getting it. If there was enough zinc added to become too much for proper processing there was enough to attract ALL the gold possible as well and it remains there to pour when in proper proportions. Taking the min 50# MC pour estimate with a 10% by volume silver it comes to like 70% of 3# of silver and 80% of 47# of gold. Is then 25 oz silver and 451 oz gold in the pot to flux when proper time comes rather soon with next clean out from pad 2 to dilute with the same PM and less total zinc.

Now you possess 2 pours each worth $568,000 gold and $350 silver worth $1,134,700 and are ready to extract that new 5 gr off of pad 1 as well. Tossing away $40 zinc is not the correct test answer. It is $1,134,700 Precious Metal. Answer 'B' has 100% shot at correct. 8
