I posted this before but thought some may have missed it. The Toyota Camry is built by Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru) in Lafayette IN. Toyota has a minority interest in Fuji. So just to to put the question to rest. ZJMY picked Chery to manufacture their EVs for the simple reason that they found a manufacturer that is already building the vehicles that match what fits their needs. Smart people using existing facilities to bring their battery technology to market quickly. Who cares where the cars are produced.
