The interesting thing about bitcoin and a few other cryptocurrencies, is that there is only a specific number being created. Bitcoin, by the last time it is halved, will be 21 million. Currently, it halves every 4 years. It is supply vs demand. Litecoin will have 84 million after the last time it halves.
