Correction, Emergo may not grant the CE Mark. Emergo is a regulatory authority or Authorized Representative for the EU (European Union). So it is unclear if Emergo keeps the EU up to date with the latest progress. Or, after all the documents Emergo needs look good, do they forward to the EU, and the process starts up again with the EU looking at the documents, possibly wanting more testing, auditing, questions answered and then finally the CE mark may be approved.
