Dungeons & Dragons games in Princeton back in the 1980's were really complex. Some guys would write their own scripts on TI-994/A or Commodore Vic-80 COmputers and toy with fractals and such to cast spells. Still, what we are seeing now reminds me of one of those rainy Saturday afternoons playing D&D in the dorms at Princeton with Undergrads trying to tease our brains to sleep before sneaking home to our parents house before high school the next day. Eventually, when I had a dorm and was letting the kids from Pennington come over to play guitar at the TCNJ townhouses, it's all just a big fantasy game...music and money. It's all just notes, tempo, & a little magic. PGPM has been the best D&D game I've seen since 1985 and the great Wizard standoff at Kunkle Park in Pennington.
