The Wall Street Journal editorial page prefers that Trump behave as Spicer suggests -- and not just on Thursday, lashing out at the damage it saw Trump as doing to his presidency in recent days alone through his unbridled tweeting:

If the pattern holds, the Journal editorial speculated, Trump would find himself running an administration comprising no one but his family and the Breitbart staff.
