Making it trendy and attractive to people could also make it more successful. People want to be in a place that is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable over a place that might otherwise feel very "industrial".

Lambo engines are some of the best engines in the world. But, would you want the mechanic who built the engine to design the appearance of the car? No, you'd want the best designer in the world to do that.
